Home Attractions
Bennett Lodge, located in
Daniel's Harbour on the Northern Penninsula of Newfoundland, is your home
base to experience many attractions both North and South of the town as well as
within the local area.
The town is a small fishing village and was once the
centre for a Zinc Mine. Within 5 km of Bennett Lodge, you will find Portland
Creek, a fully licensed Atlantic Salmon river. For more information on
salmon fishing, feel free to contact us or check out the website
www.bmdguides.com.
While staying at Bennett Lodge, make sure you inquire about the possibility
of seeing whales, as they migrate the Gulf of St. Lawrence and can be easily
seen from the Ocean Front View of Bennett Lodge.
Bennett Lodge is just 25 km north of Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. The Park is a 1805 square km sample of Newfoundland's western
highlands and coastal lowlands - a landscape of mountains, fjords, valleys,
deep glacial lakes, coastal bogs, and wave carved cliffs.
While staying at Bennett Lodge, make sure you enjoy some of the
